Shipments and returns
It is the policy of The Hanging Tree Greeting Cards and Gifts to ship orders of in stock merchandise within two(2) business days of the order placed. We will inform you if the greeting cards that you ordered are on back order.
The Hanging Tree strives to keep our shipping costs down and as a result, we use the USPS for all shipments. At checkout, the shipping charge for an order is calculated automatically based on charges set forth by the USPS.
Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two or more distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect your order.Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.
It is the policy of The Hanging Tree Greeting Cards and Gift not to accept returned greeting cards for refund or exchange. All sales are final.
However, if the wrong greeting cards were shipped to you, we will accept their return for exchange only. In order to return the greeting cards that were not ordered, you must contact us via email, within seven Ten(10) business days of the date that the greeting cards were shipped, to inform us that we shipped the wrong greeting cards to you. In your email, please provide the following information:
- Your name
- Your order confirmation number
- A general description of the incorrect greeting cards that you received. If the wrong greeting cards were actually shipped, we will accept their return in exchange for the correct greeting cards.
